No press-release copy here. Every review comes from hours spent with the game on a real phone, not a trailer.
Studios can't buy their way up our lists. We pay for our own copies and keep our scores honest.
Puzzles, RPGs, racers, card games — we cover it all as long as it's worth your time.
A laid-back fishing game with satisfying reel-in physics and a bright, sunny mood.
A pocket-sized fantasy RPG with turn-based combat and a surprisingly heavy story.
Build coastal cities and wage slow naval wars in this thoughtful strategy sim.
Fast arcade racing with tilt or touch steering and a killer synth soundtrack.
A moody point-and-tap adventure through a forgotten town, heavy on atmosphere.
Run a workshop of inventors, managing orders, staff and the occasional disaster.
Emberfall Saga surprised me. I've played a lot of mobile RPGs that are basically stat menus with a cartoon on top, and this one actually bothers to tell a story. You lead a band of exiles across a dying kingdom, and the writing has real teeth — characters die, choices stick, and not everyone likes you.
A week of casting lines taught me that not every mobile game needs to shout.
After too many stat-menu grinders, here's how I spot the good ones fast.
I raced the same track a hundred times to figure out which control scheme actually wins.
Hollow Lantern reminded me that mood matters more than polygon counts.

We pick games we're genuinely curious about, then play them for real hours before writing a word. We also spread coverage across genres on purpose, so we're not just publishing puzzle reviews forever. If a game doesn't give us something to say, we skip it.
No. We buy or download every game ourselves, the same way any reader would, and no studio can pay to raise its score or place higher on our lists. Big Bass Splash, like everything here, was reviewed on our own dime with zero involvement from anyone who made it.
Absolutely, and we read every suggestion. Drop us an email with the game and a line about why you like it. We can't promise to cover everything, but reader tips are how we've found some of our favorites.
We keep things minimal and clearly labeled if we ever run anything. We don't take money to influence reviews, and our scores are never for sale. If that ever changed we'd tell you plainly, but right now the site runs lean and independent.
