About

Pocket Atlas started as a group chat where three of us kept swapping screenshots of weird games we found on our commutes. At some point the list got too long to keep in our heads, so we built a site. That's the whole origin story, no venture money, no grand plan.

We review mobile games across every genre, with a soft spot for independent developers who make something honest instead of chasing trends. When we pick a game to cover, we install it, play for real hours, and only write once we've hit the parts most people never reach. If a game bores us by level five, we say so.

Nobody pays us to place a game higher. We buy or download everything ourselves the same way you would. Ratings are the opinion of whoever wrote the piece, and we sign our names so you know who to blame.

The site is small on purpose. We'd rather publish one careful review a week than ten rushed ones that all read the same. If that sounds like your kind of thing, stick around.
